Premium Wiring Devices questions
Do premium switches need special wiring?
Standard switches and sockets use normal wiring. Some smart dimmers and keypads need a neutral wire or a data cable, which we plan before the walls are closed.
Can I mix normal switches and smart keypads?
Yes. Most premium ranges offer normal switches and smart devices in the same frames and finishes.
Can the plates be engraved?
Many keypads and switches can be engraved or labelled with icons or text so everyone knows what each button does.
Can you replace switches in a finished home?
Yes. Plates and mechanisms can usually be changed without breaking walls, as long as the existing boxes suit the new range.
