Automation
Wired Home Automation for New Homes
Wired automation is a central control system planned into the building while it is being built or fully renovated. Lighting circuits, curtain motors, keypads and sensors are cabled back to control panels, where dimmers and controllers are mounted in one serviceable place.

What it is
Wired Automation, in plain language
Because every device has a dedicated wire, wired systems are extremely reliable and responsive, and they scale to large villas, multi-floor homes and commercial buildings. Keypads stay slim and elegant on the wall, because the heavy electronics live in the panel.
Where to use it
- New villas and independent housesPlanned with the electrical drawings for the cleanest result.
- Full renovationsWhen walls and ceilings are open anyway, wired is the long-term choice.
- Large homes and farmhousesHundreds of circuits across floors and outbuildings on one system.
- Hotels, offices and showroomsCentralised scheduling, scenes and energy management.
Benefits

Smooth, flicker-free dimming
Professional dimmers matched to every lighting load.
Clean walls
One elegant keypad replaces rows of switches.
Future-proof
Spare cabling and panel space let you add features for years.

FAQ
Wired Automation questions
When should I plan wired automation?
As early as possible — ideally before electrical drawings are finalised. Cabling is easy before plastering and difficult afterwards.
Is wired automation more expensive than wireless?
It usually involves more cabling and panel work, but the cost per circuit becomes very competitive in larger homes. We quote both options so you can compare.
What if a controller fails?
Controllers are modular and sit in an accessible panel, so a faulty unit can be swapped without opening walls. AMC customers get priority replacement.
Can wired and wireless be combined?
Yes. Many homes use wired control for the main build and wireless devices for later additions.
