Lighting

Exterior & Facade Lighting

Exterior lighting makes a building look as good at night as it does in daylight — and makes it safer to arrive at and move around. It covers facade lighting that traces the architecture, landscape lighting that picks out trees and planting, pathway and step lights, gate and compound lighting, and pool or water-feature lighting.

What it is

Exterior Lighting, in plain language

Near the coast, outdoor fixtures face salty air, heavy monsoon rain and strong sun. We choose fixtures for their ingress protection and corrosion resistance, place drivers where they can be serviced, and put everything on timers, astronomical clocks or automation so the lights switch themselves.

Where to use it

  • Villa and apartment facadesWall grazers, up-down lights and linear washers that reveal the building’s lines.
  • Gardens and lawnsSpike spots on trees, low bollards along beds and soft wash on boundary walls.
  • Driveways, gates and stepsGlare-free step lights and bollards so every level change is clearly visible.
  • Pools and water featuresUnderwater and edge lighting rated for permanent immersion.
  • Hotels, restaurants and showroomsSignage, entrance and facade lighting that draws people in after dark.

Benefits

Why it is worth it

Your home or business becomes a landmark on the street after sunset.

  • Safety and security

Well-lit entrances and paths deter intruders and prevent trips and falls.

  • Built for the weather

Weather-rated fixtures and sealed connections cope with rain, humidity and salt air.

  • Hands-free operation

Timers, dusk sensors and automation switch lights on at sunset and off late at night.

FAQ

Exterior Lighting questions

Will outdoor lights survive the monsoon?

Fixtures with the right IP rating, sealed junctions and correct cable glands are designed for exactly that. Most outdoor failures come from poor connections, which is why we make and seal them ourselves.

Can the facade lights switch on automatically?

Yes. An astronomical timer or dusk sensor turns them on at sunset and off at a time you choose, or they can be part of a home automation scene.

Can I use coloured lights for festivals?

RGBW fixtures let you switch from warm white to festival colours from an app or keypad, then back again.

Do you do lighting for commercial buildings?

Yes — showrooms, restaurants, hotels and offices. We plan facade and signage lighting with your brand colours in mind.
